Spaceproton private satellite

ABOUT SPACEPROTON CUBESAT:

The construction of a private CubeSat 6U is being prepared. It will be a satellite whose goal will be to photography of the earth, objects of the solar system and nearby objects of the space with a powerful camera and optics. The secondary function of the satellite will be the rental of data of alternative sensors for scientific purposes. The development of the satellite will be focused on the development of several technologically demanding units:

  • Non-contact gyroscope.
  • Computer unit with in-depth SMD integration in 3D PCB will be developed in Spaceproton Laboratory.
  • Power supply without the use of Li-ion, or RTG will be developed in Spaceproton Laboratory.
  • Alternative spin-launch booster rocket to MEO or 570 km orbit.

OUR TEAM OF ENTHUSIASTS DESIGNERS:

David Rúra, Ph.D. candidate with a focus on magnetic bearings and levitation, will work on the development of a non-contact gyroscope for satellite stability and maneuvering (direction).

Martin Kokolia, Ph.D. with a focus on Radio Frequency engineering, will work on the development of an antenna ensuring Internet connection with Starlink satellites.

Ivan Mahdík is project owner with focus on hardware engineering. He will work on development of mechanical design of satellite with respect to the requirements for Cubesat containers and cosmic radiation shielding, system development for sequential switching on during start, development of component integration technology in 3D PCB of computer unit, power supplies, sensors, telemetry sensors and electrical design of gyroscope. Development of the system for opening solar panels. Development of embedded software and web management. Checking the possibilities of developing alternative spin-launch accelerator.
